At the beginning of the twentieth century, after about 100 years of circulation, the attraction of "The Tale of Kiều" was stronger, gradually admired and praised by intellectuals as a traditional value that nurtured the soul and identity of Vietnam. People read "The Tale of Kiều" to sympathize with the destiny of suffering, to rekindle national pride that has sunk deeply under the yoke of colonial rule, to realize the lasting value of Vietnamese and patriotism. "The Tale of Kiều" is the native language of the Vietnamese people, closely linked with the national destiny, is a symbol of the Vietnamese language, and is honored and regarded by the intellectuals as the country's soul. The book was reprinted on a special edition in 1951. The elegant and beautiful layout and decoration of the 1951 edition have been recreated to dedicate readers to an art publication of "The Tale of Kiều".
